About Neighborhoods United
Neighborhoods United was established in 1996 to unite diverse neighborhoods together under a common theme. We believe in early intervention with our youth that are “at risk” or are potential “at risk” adolescents. The objective of Neighborhoods United is to unite the youth with the community and all local agencies that support the community’s youth.
Recognizing the potential of this organization, a nonprofit corporation was formed with a (501(c) (3) status in 1998. A group of volunteer community leaders are on the Board of Directors: Chris Ray, Stan Everitt, Ron Pino, Veronica Lucchino, and Paul Kenny. Our intention is to provide our youth with every opportunity to succeed. Encouraging these young adults to stay in school, and steer them away from drug abuse and any criminal behavior is essential to having a positive impact on their future. Many of the kids involved with Neighborhoods United are looking for guidance from their peers and adult supporters. We keep up our Colorado Certificate of Good Standing every year; current for 2020 |
