Letter from the President

Theresa Ramos-Garcia
Dear Community:
For more than 17 years, Neighborhoods United has been a non-profit organization working with youth to make significant changes in their lives and their families’ lives so they can make a positive impact on society. In addition, one of the goals of Neighborhoods United is to work with a spirit of cooperation by helping youth get out of and stay out of trouble. Through direct grants and partnerships with other non-profit partners we are able to strengthen systemic change through our public-private partnerships.
The Board’s desire is to continue our philanthropic efforts for years to come. Much of the work of Neighborhoods United is focused on regionally.
However, our vision has spread beyond the boundaries of Larimer County. Our commitment is to remain creative and constant in the support to our non-profit partners so they can continue to assist others and continue to provide resources to vast communities.
We encourage you to get acquainted with the pages of this website. You’ll discover a description of the goals Neighborhoods United has such as, giving and current partners. We recognize our ability to see how positive change can influence a community, but we have also determined an organization is only as great as the capacity of that organization to respond to a changing world. We have gifted partners and we are proud to play a part in the important work they do.
Thank you to all who have contributed time and money to Neighborhoods United. We hope you find our website useful as you look for ways to enhance our mission.
Sincerely,
Theresa Ramos-Garcia
Board President
